Wells Fargo, check rewards

I have been a customer at Wells Fargo for about three years. As any good consumer should do, I check my account regularly.

For the past month, I am growing continually frustrated with Wells Fargo and their "Check rewards program".

They enrolled me into their check rewards program WITHOUT EVEN ASKING!! They never send out any 'opt-in' notice. They just jam it down your throught. I wouldn't have a problem with the program, if they didn't charge $25 annual fee. What the hell?!?! What gives Wells Fargo the right to just take your money, without permission - for a program that you never requested?!?! At least AMEX will ask if you want to enroll in their Open/rewards program.
